Commercial Coffee Machine FAQs

Everything UK businesses tend to ask before putting a coffee machine in the office, answered in one place. If your question is not covered here, book a free tasting or get in touch and we will talk it through.

Choosing a Machine

It comes down to how much coffee your team gets through, not just headcount. As a rough guide, the Cuco 50 suits teams of around 15 to 25 people, the Cuco 100 suits 30 to 50, and the Cuco 200 is built for 70 and up. We look at your actual daily usage as well as team size, so the machine fits the way your office really runs.

Each model is built for steady office demand. The Cuco 50 makes up to 50 cups a day, the Cuco 100 makes 100 to 150, and the Cuco 200 handles up to 200. If you are regularly going past that, a second machine usually works better than pushing one to its limit.

Plenty to keep a whole office happy: espresso, americano, cappuccino, latte, flat white, macchiato, hot chocolate and iced coffee options, with different strengths and milk choices. The Cuco 200 offers the widest range.

It depends on the model, and that is deliberate. We have different sizes for different offices, so we match the footprint to your team and the spot you have in mind. When we visit for a tasting, we check the space before recommending anything.

Not necessarily. Every machine can run mains-fed or from a fill-up tank, so it works whether or not there is easy access to plumbing where the machine will sit. Mains-fed suits high-volume spots, while a tank is simpler to install and move.

Rental, Lease & Hire

It is straightforward. We start with a quick chat and a free tasting or trial to match the machine to your office, install it for free, then look after it with a free weekly service that cleans and restocks it. You pay one monthly fee, with no large upfront cost, and we handle the rest.

With Cuco the two are very similar, because both come fully supported with servicing included. The real difference is the financial structure rather than the service you receive, so most businesses simply pick whichever suits their accounting. We are happy to talk you through both.

Yes. Our three-month initial term works as an extended trial, so you are not tied into a long commitment from the start. After that it moves to a rolling twelve-month arrangement, which gives most offices the best value because free weekly servicing is built in.

We start with a three-month initial term that acts as an extended trial, then move to a rolling twelve-month agreement. You are never locked into anything heavy-handed, which reflects how confident we are in the service.

Yes. We set up a one-week free trial in your own office, so your team can judge the machine, the drinks and the service in real conditions before signing anything.

Yes. If your team grows or your usage changes, we can upgrade or adjust your setup so the machine still fits.

We review what suits you best at that point, whether that is upgrading, renewing or carrying on as you are. It is kept flexible and based on what you need.

We always aim to work with you where we can. The exact terms depend on your agreement, but the approach is practical and focused on finding a sensible solution.

Rental is generally treated as an allowable business expense, but every business is different, so it is worth confirming the position with your accountant or HMRC.

Costs and What Is Included

Quite a lot: the machine itself, weekly full cleaning and servicing, all maintenance and repairs, emergency call-outs, and cleaning products and filters. It is set up so your team never has to manage the machine internally.

Beans are supplied separately, so you only pay for what you actually use. That gives you cleaner cost control and keeps quality consistent, rather than folding a rough estimate into a flat fee.

We supply compostable cups, compostable lids, syrups and hot chocolate. We do not supply milk, so that is the one thing you sort locally.

No. Everything is set out clearly and there are no surprise extras.

Servicing and Reliability

Each weekly visit covers a full deep clean of the machine, milk system cleaning, internal maintenance checks, calibration and optimisation, a stock check, and a consistency check to confirm the drinks are dispensing correctly. This level of weekly attention is one of the main things that sets us apart.

No. We handle the upkeep and your team just uses the machine. On installation we show staff the basics, like refilling beans and emptying the tray, and everything else is covered on the weekly visit.

We provide rapid-response support and get to you quickly to sort it. Emergency call-outs and repairs are covered, so a fault does not turn into a bill or a long wait.

Typically within one to two hours in core service areas, so a problem rarely means a day without coffee.

Installation and Getting Started

It runs in four simple steps: an initial chat about your needs, a free trial set up in your office, a quick feedback and final decision, then installation and onboarding.

Usually within two working days once you are ready to go ahead.

Yes. We provide full training at installation and keep supporting your team on the weekly service visits.

We are based in Manchester and provide coverage across the UK, so wherever your office is, we can look after it.

The Coffee

Four to choose from: Signature, Cremosa, Premium and Cafe Blend. Each has its own character, so it comes down to your office’s taste.

Yes. You can switch blends whenever you like if preferences shift.

There is a dedicated page on our site with the full detail on sourcing and roasting, which is the best place to look.

As often as your usage needs. We keep an eye on it with you, so you never run out mid-week.
